    Join us on one of these two special nights to meet artist Mira Lehr and celebrate her illustrious career. Lehr studied painting with renowned artist Robert Motherwell and was at the forefront of abstract expressionism as a young female artist in the 1950s and ’60s. In 1969, she was selected to participate with Buckminster Fuller on the first World Games Scenario Project at the New York Studio School. Lehr’s art has been exhibited by numerous U.S. museums including the New Museum in New York; the Smithsonian Museum of American Art in Washington, D.C.; and the Getty Museum Research Center in Los Angeles as well as American embassies around the world.

    Earlier this month, Rosenbaum Contemporary participated in Art Wynwood, a fair that takes place in the Wynwood section of downtown Miami and showcases 70 international galleries. These galleries present emerging, cutting-edge, contemporary and modern art that ranges from traditional painting and sculpture to multi-media, installations and performance art.
