A press conference was held at the Pitti Palace, Treasury of the Grand Dukes, in Florence, where a bust of Helidon Xhixha was unveiled by Uffizi Gallery Director Eike Uffizi Schmidt, Xhixha and Dr. Diego Giolitti, which will go into the Uffizi Gallery permanent collection, observing a long-standing tradition whereby artists exhibiting at the Uffizi Gallery are invited to create a replica bust of themselves in their preferred material, in Xhixha's case, stainless steel.
