Summer Reflections

June 23 - September 30, 2007 Boca Raton Gallery

Rosenbaum Contemporary is pleased to present a dynamic grouping of contemporary American and European abstract artists: Thierry Feuz, John O'Connell, Steven Seinberg and Michael Wright. Each well-established artist explores color and surface in completely individual terms.

Steven Seinberg conveys the most subtle tonalities of color interplay in unique works using the most traditional techniques of oil glazing and varying opacities of color.

Michael Wright, with direct connections to the New York School of Post-War abstract artists including Willem de Kooning, whom he worked under, brings a jazz artist's spontaneous sensibilities to his canvases that define space in broad dark gestures that in turn frame deep colors in a Jazz Age near-Cubist echo.

Internationally collected artist Thierry Feuz demonstrates that psychedelia has never been fully defined. Surrealism under Feuz's control has far-reaching and intriguing possibilities as seen in his high-gloss lacquered canvases of brightly colored dreamscape flowers and floating unidentified bugged-out insects.

These artists can be seen along with other fine selections of museum-level status at Rosenbaum Contemporary. Our inventory includes artists such as John Chamberlain, Jim Dine, Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso, Joan Mitchell, Elizabeth Murray, Marc Chagall, David Hockney, Hanneke Beaumont, Robert Mangold, Richard Serra and Louise Nevelson among others.
