Ron Chen was born in 1990, in Kfar Saba, Israel. He completed his B.F.A. degree at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem between 2014 and 2018, which included an exchange program at The Slade School of Fine Art in London. Between 2023 and 2025 Chen lived and worked in New York where he completed his M.F.A. degree at The New York Studio School.
Chen’s works have been featured in solo and duo shows in Tel Aviv, Bangkok, Miami and London as well as several group shows in Israel including exhibitions at Petach Tikva Museum, The Steinhardt Museum, the Rothschild Center and the 8th Biennale for Drawing in Jerusalem.
In 2022, Chen was awarded The Eugene Kolb Prize by The Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and his works were acquired for the museum collection. Chen’s works can also be found in the collection of E.Sun Bank, Taiwan, and the Tony Ressler Collection, L.A., among numerous other private collections worldwide.
