Ron Chen was born in 1990, in Kfar Saba, Israel. He completed his B.F.A. degree at Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem between 2014 and 2018, which included a one-semester exchange program at The Slade School of Art in London. Between 2023 and 2025 Chen lived and worked in New York, where he completed his M.F.A. degree at The New York Studio School.
Chen’s works have been featured in solo shows in Tel Aviv, Bangkok and Miami as well as several group shows in Israel including exhibitions at The Steinhardt Museum and P8 Gallery in Tel Aviv and the 8th Drawing Biennale in Jerusalem.
In 2022, Chen was awarded The Eugen Kolb Prize by The Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and his works were acquired for the Museum collection. Chen’s works can also be found in the collection of E.Sun Bank, Taiwan, and the Tony Ressler Collection, among numerous other private collections worldwide.
