Arslan Sukan was born in 1973 in Ankara, Turkey. He received his B.F.A. in architecture from Bilkent University, Ankara, and continuing education from School of Visual Arts, New York. Sukan worked as an architect in New York until 2008. In 2009, he received an award in the “Best Fine Art Work” category at the New York Photography Festival. His works have been exhibited in Galerist, Istanbul, Turkey; Maison Des Metallos, Paris, France; Tobacco Warehouse, Brooklyn, New York; Kappatos Gallery, Athens, Greece; Elgiz Museum of Contemporary Art, Istanbul, Turkey; and Batagianni Gallery, Athens, Greece.
